An Adventure in the Orchard
To celebrate the end of apple season, Astros is bringing the orchards to life! On Saturday 24 October, come and pick Story apples, the very last variety of the year, and enjoy a family day filled with treasure hunts, activities and tasty treats, from the orchards all the way to the terrace.
One last apple, a thousand adventures!
Practical information
How does it work?
When you arrive, check in at the welcome desk before heading to the open orchards. Then simply pick and enjoy !
Bring your own baskets or crates! If you forget them, jute bags will be available to purchase on site.
Pick freely from the open orchard areas, at your own pace.
Have your apples weighed and pay at the exit of the orchard — €2.50/kg, by card or cash.
Take home your freshly picked organic apples, with no preservatives. Pick, bite, enjoy!

Guided tours, activities for children, plus a photobooth in the heart of the orchard. Then take time to explore the estate, from the Allée aux Lions to the château grounds and vineyards.

BEFORE YOUR VISIT
Here are the answers to the questions we are asked most often, so you can plan your visit and enjoy the orchards with complete peace of mind.
When are you open, and how long does the season last?
Apple picking begins on the first weekend of September and, depending on the harvest, we hope to remain open until early or mid-October.
Opening for the following weekend is confirmed at the beginning of each week. We recommend checking our website and social media before visiting.
Do I need to book to pick apples?
No. At weekends, apple picking is open to individuals and families without a reservation.
Reservations are only required for our guided orchard tours during the week and can be made through our website.
Is it suitable for children? What can we do on site?
Absolutely. The experience is designed as a real day out in nature for the whole family.
Children can enjoy apple picking and activities in the orchards and around the shop, as well as juices and ice creams from the orchard counter.
Beyond the orchards, you can explore the estate on foot, enjoy a picnic or discover our products at the shop.
Can we have a picnic on site?
Yes. A dedicated picnic area is available near the orchards.
You are welcome to bring your own picnic or choose one of our picnic baskets, which can be booked in advance through our website.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes. Dogs are welcome in areas open to the public, provided they are kept on a lead.
