This season’s format
A rare harvest,
meant to be shared
Nature brings something different every year, and 2026 is a particularly small harvest — so we’ve chosen to share it.
Each car can pick up to 5 kg of apples, allowing as many families as possible to enjoy a day in the orchards.
And you can still take home as many apples as you like: crates of organic apples from our partner growers are available to purchase on site at the same price.
There’s much more to enjoy beyond apple picking: our orchard bistro, picnics, family activities and walks through the estate.
Practical information
How does it work?
When you arrive, each car receives a container. Simply head into the open orchard areas and pick your apples at your own pace, before returning to the hut to have them weighed and pay.

TASTE
Our juices
& botanical drinks
Born from our apple-growing heritage and inspired by the rich plant life found throughout the estate, our juices and botanical drinks reveal another side of Astros, beyond wine.
Made from organic, 100% natural ingredients, our alcohol-free juices and drinks combine fruit and botanicals in balanced, delicate and refreshing recipes.
Our journey
Our environmental commitments
Our vineyards are already certified organic, and all our orchards have been Ecocert-certified organic since 2023.
Committed to protecting the estate’s ecosystem, our team works to ensure the quality of our apples through natural growing practices and by encouraging local biodiversity.
As our apples contain no preservatives, we recommend enjoying them as fresh as possible after picking.
Good to know
BEFORE YOUR VISIT
Here are the answers to the questions we are asked most often, so you can plan your visit and enjoy the orchards with complete peace of mind.
When are you open, and how long does the season last?
Apple picking begins on the first weekend of September and, depending on the harvest, we hope to remain open until early or mid-October.
Opening for the following weekend is confirmed at the beginning of each week. We recommend checking our website and social media before visiting.
Do I need to book to pick apples?
No. At weekends, apple picking is open to individuals and families without a reservation.
Reservations are only required for our guided orchard tours during the week and can be made through our website.
Why is apple picking limited to 5 kg per car? Can we take more home?
This year’s harvest is smaller, so we have chosen to share it: apple picking is limited to 5 kg per car, allowing as many families as possible to enjoy the experience throughout the season.
The limit applies per car, regardless of the number of passengers, and only applies to apples picked directly from our orchards.
You can still take home as many apples as you wish: crates of organic apples from our partner growers are available to purchase on site at the same price — €2.50/kg.
What days and times are you open?
Saturdays and Sundays, from 10 am to 6 pm.
To give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the orchard, we recommend arriving at least one hour before closing.
On weekdays, the orchards can only be visited as part of a guided tour, by reservation.
Is it suitable for children? What can we do on site?
Absolutely. The experience is designed as a real day out in nature for the whole family.
Children can enjoy apple picking and activities in the orchards and around the shop, as well as juices and ice creams from the orchard counter.
Beyond the orchards, you can explore the estate on foot, enjoy a picnic or discover our products at the shop.
Can we have a picnic on site?
Yes. A dedicated picnic area is available near the orchards.
You are welcome to bring your own picnic or choose one of our picnic baskets, which can be booked in advance through our website.
Should we bring our own bags or baskets?
It’s up to you. Each car receives a specially sized container on arrival, which serves as a guide for the 5 kg picking allowance. After weighing your apples, you can either take the container home for an additional charge or transfer your apples into your own bag.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes. Dogs are welcome in areas open to the public, provided they are kept on a lead.
