The Astros estate, located in Vidauban in the Var region, conceals historical secrets dating back more than 8 centuries. The Commanderie Templière d’Astros invites you on Saturday 23 October to penetrate its mysteries on the occasion of the Nuit des Châteaux 2021. This national event, created in 2019 by Dartagnans and its online ticketing service dedicated to heritage, dartngo.fr, allows you to discover, at nightfall, various historic residences.

As in previous editions, 88% of the proceeds from the ticket sales will be redistributed to the estate, in order to keep our historic monuments alive.

We invite you to discover this building for the first time, with an immersive game and to try to pierce the secret of Astros, through different enigmas and scripted interactions.

The Templar Commandery is the original home of the estate’s inhabitants. Witness to the passage of various religious orders, it retains a typically feudal presence and charm.

Once you have passed through the main gate, you are taken back to the 13th century, in the presence of the Knights Templar, the High Commander and all the estate’s servants.

As you meet them, through the rooms, and at each test, you will learn about the ancestral practices, the craftmanship and the life of the estate… An unforgettable experience, to get closer to the soul of the estate. 

Practical information:

Duration : 1 hour per team (continuous and spaced reception_ one team every 15 minutes_ in order to respect the health gestures between the groups).

Immersive historical game in the former Templar Commandery of Astros. Meet different characters illustrating the history of the Commanderie D’Astros through scripted tests and interactions. 
Various oenological enigmas during the visit.
Tasting of organic wines from the Domaine d’Astros at the end of the adventure game (For those over 18; drink responsibly).
