For this creation, we wanted to go beyond the wine itself. To offer a complete sensory experience, where the pleasure of tasting is extended by the contemplation of the bottle. And for that, we needed an external perspective. An artist’s perspective.

The Meeting of Château d’Astros and Artist Arnold d’Alger

It was an instant connection. Arnold d’Alger captivates with his warm palette, sensitive compositions, and unique ability to make inner landscapes vibrate.
When he came to Astros, inspiration struck during a simple walk:

“I found la Belle Vie on the paths of Château d’Astros. Between the bright sun and the oleanders… A greeting to the seasons in the stone garden, a walk to the foot of Sainte Brigitte, rooted in grape clusters filled with light. This is the story of my journey into la Belle Vie at Château d’Astros — and what I wish for you until the next solstice.” – Arnold d’Alger

Step by step, he discovered the peaceful chapel, the deep shade of the century-old pines, the enduring presence of the ancient aqueduct. This dialogue between heritage and nature became the guiding thread of his work.

A Bottle Like a Travel Journal

From that visit came a poetic and evocative bottle: a miniature world, a solar and sensory story, where a stylised hill, a constellation of symbols, and the burst of the sun meet.

Provence is suggested rather than described — in its shadows and light, in its silences and bursts of colour. The line is free, instinctive, much like the wine it adorns. A vision that is both intimate and universal.
