Last February, Château d’Astros welcomed the team from Italian fashion house Miu Miu for the filming of its latest short film, La Grande Envie, directed by Catherine Martin and premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.
The film features a prestigious cast: Willem Dafoe, Daisy Ridley and Jasmin Savoy.
These strong artistic personalities are showcased in the château’s salons, under the Muses’ dome, and in the estate’s light-filled landscapes.

Astros was the obvious choice: the beauty of its exteriors, the elegance of its interiors, the richness of its architecture and the natural setting that surrounds it provided a backdrop that was cinematic, poetic and timeless.
This shoot confirms Astros’ growing role as a source of inspiration for artists, following in the footsteps of Yves Robert, who was captivated by the place in Marcel Pagnol’s Le Château de ma mère. Today, the magic continues to work its wonders.
